MESSAGE OF PEACE  Kaune Elementary School first-graders Santiago Roybal, left, Angelique Manzanares and Michelle Ochoa work on their peace flags during an art class at the school on Wednesday. The flags will be displayed during next weekend’s World Peace Conference. Students from five area elementary schools created more than 300 peace flags modeled after Tibetan prayer flags. The project was organized and led by Naomi C. Rose, author and artist of Tibetan Tales for Little Buddhas.
